In the Month of May...

In addition to Vance's graduation ceremony, and him starting his career, we had a great month in May.

Date Night
After putting the kids to bed Vance and I had a fun night making gluten free treats to eat while watching a movie. We had so much fun and it felt like we were dating again!

And the kids enjoyed the leftovers the next day!

Ferguson Canyon
We also went rock climbing up Ferguson Canyon with some family and friends. It was beautiful and one of the only times we were able to rock climb this year.

Hiking up the canyon to the cliff.

The ants and ladybugs were huge!

Mother's Day
For Mother's Day, Vance's mom and some of his family came to visit and we went to the park for a picnic.

Mason wrote his name for the first time on our card to Grandma Sandgren!! The "S" is backwards, and the "N" is a little deformed, but hello, he wasn't even 3 years old yet!  I was soooooo incredibly proud of him!!

Cannon Ball
The boys discovered the excitement of jumping off the couch onto a pile of blankets and pillows. They had the time of their lives! Mason actually "jumped" off the couch, while Isaac "walked" off.

Mason had his 3rd birthday, but I cannot find the pictures anywhere. They must have gotton lost with pictures in the following event, since they were all on the same SD card. URG!!!!!!!
Any family that was at Mason's party and has pictures, please send them to me! Thanks :)

Flaming Gorge
At the end of the month, we went to Rock Springs for Philip's High School Graduation. We had an enjoyable time and got some pretty cool pictures, but unfortunately, we lost most of them (it's a long and pointless story), so we only have pictures we took on the last day we were there. I was so upset when we realized this because I was sooooooo excited about these pictures, but I was grateful when I found these ones because I thought we had lost these ones too. This was our only trip to Flaming Gorge this year, which is not normal for us. We usually go 3-4 times each year.

Mason instantly sat down to take off his shoes and socks. He couldn't wait to get his feet into that water!

 The water was really cold!

This is Isaac's first time touching the water of Flaming Gorge (a favorite vacation spot of my family)!

Their favorite part was throwing rocks into the water! They are boys through and through!

Eventually the pants came off too. They were just getting too wet and it was windy so it made them real cold to have wet pants on.

 I love this picture!

They were quickly back in a dry pair of pants.

Mason found a beautiful rock and gave it to me :)

He also found one for his dad.

Memorial Day
This year, my parents really wanted to go visit gravesides. We used to do this almost every year as kids, but we haven't done it for years. So those of us that could and wanted to went to visit my greatgrandparents graves.

 Cooling off in Grandpa's shade

Ummm...did I just pee my pants?  Yes you did.
